Intruder Caught At Carmel Animal Hospital

A woman faces charges after illegally entering a Hudson Valley animal hospital during its overnight hours, police said.

The incident happened at the Carmel Animal Hospital at 235 Route 52.

The incident happened in Putnam County on Friday night, April 12, when a woman illegally entered the Carmel Animal Hospital at 235 Route 52, according to Carmel Police.

A detective soon found the suspect near the hospital and arrested her. The suspect, a woman whose name has not yet been released by the department, was charged with:

Third-degree criminal trespass;
Possession of burglar's tools.

She was later released with a future court date.
